After our great October meeting where we saw many great pieces made by members and finished up our business issues, we are looking forward to our meeting on November 18, 6:30 pm PST.
Our guest speaker will be Mary Fons, with Lecture and Trunk Show – Extreme Home Edition. Mary has a great breadth of knowledge of all things quilting and a gift of humor that makes her talks so popular. We are grateful we are able to have her share with us.
We welcome non-members to participate. We ask for a modest $5 donation and ask that you reach out to us at ocmodernquiltguild@gmail.com. We will happily share the zoom link. To ensure that you are included, please request by no later than noon, Wednesday, November 17.
Following Mary’s talk, we will share our Book Themed Challenge. This is always a highlight. Members chose a book theme quilt to make and then donate the quilt and book to our partner the Orangewood Foundation in time for Christmas.
