Donations for From the Ashes – Thomas Fire Quilt Relief

They are no longer accepting quilt blocks. They have a surplus of blocks that they’ve received from all around the world, and not enough people to sew them! They are now only accepting:

-finished quilts
-batting
-quilt shop quality backing fabrics in cuts of 4 yards or larger (wide backs are great too!)

They also need: our help! If you can get to Ventura County, consider attending a Thomas Fire Sew-In. These are held every Saturday in Ventura from 10-4. They would appreciate any volunteers who can help with sewing and quilting. Go here for more info on Sew-Ins!

Also, if anyone would like Gail to pick up some blocks that need to be sewn together when she is there on 4/13, just contact us and we will let Gail know to pick up some blocks.
