I’m rereadjng a favorite fantasy mystery novel and greatly enjoy and offhand bit about Quilting and patterns. Anyone got any book recommendations for me? This is from Katherine Addison’s “The Witness for the Dead” but you should start with “The Goblin Emperor.” Ok which space food would you want to eat? When I retire Im opening a craft brewry (with glitter and fabric and yarn and all the things plus snacks and drinks). I love the details on older Singer Machines. Thank you Michal for your hand sewing demos. I will be trying this knot tying technique Welcome back Cheryl!!!! March meeting part 4 March Meeting Photos Part 3 March Meeting Part 2 March Meeting Photos part 1 Title: The Last Quilt I think this about quilts too. Try and remeber to enjoy the process more than the outcome. This piece is named DFW. Please note our class with Cecile Choi has been moved from April to May. New date and time will be emailed. I for one can’t wait and have picked my painting inspiration🖼️ Nice! I AM SMITTEN WITH THIS LITTLE FROGGY FRIEND Details of Jason’s Mo Locomotion piece The charm of a Singer Slant-o-matic in the afternoon light. I do love me a whimsical woodland fabric. Many delightful fabrics at Orange Quilt Bee! March field trip. Stop three on the tour - Lucky Deluxe! I got some vintage napkins, some solid, and a book. Plus some yellow fabric to make my Porch Goose a rain coat capelet. OCMQG meeting this Thursday!!! Saturday Social! We are heading to Orange Quilt Bee next and Lucky Deluxe next. (@orangequiltbee and @lucky.deluxe.fabrics). https://www.instagram.com/p/DWFHxUxkrKA/ Y’all Pal’s sewing and vacumn repair closed their storefront on El Toro but you can call and arrange for pickup af yout house. Curbside service! I felt so fancy and luxurious. I will ask when I get my machine back what cities they cover. More details to come! I am really tempted to make this Luminous Nine Patch pattern by Robert Kaufman. I saw this made in yellows and brown and it was truly luminous. I might use greens and golds. What color palette would you choose? I love getting quilting books at the library. Thank you @ocpubliclibraries Ok I want to make my Porch Goose a little quilted capelet for April? Is florals for spring too basic? Maybe a rain coat for April showers? An homage to arbor day? Or April 25th as the perfect date since its not too hot and not too cold so all you need is a light jacket? Ok I am toally inspired by these colors. Who wants a gold and green quilt? I passed these palm tree clippings and they were the most vibrant thing So true!
