Meetings

Our meetings occur on the last Thursday of the month (except for November and December).

Meeting time is 6:30 – 8:30pm at:

Guests are welcome to attend two regular guild meetings free of charge. A $10 guest fee applies if there is a guest speaker.

You do not have to live in Laguna Woods. The OCMQG is open to all members.

Not a member?

Consider joining! Guests are most welcome and can attend up to two of our regular membership meetings for free; we ask that guests join after attending two meetings. A donation of $10 is required for meetings with guest speakers. To join, visit as a guest, or view a guest lecture via Zoom, please contact us using the form below.

Meetings for 2026 – Our regular guild meetings will be held in-person on the last Thursday of each month at 6:30 – 8:30 pm.

Guests are welcome to attend, contact ocmodernquiltguild@gmail.com to find out how.

Guest Speaker Meetings – The guest speaker portion of meetings will be held via Zoom. If you are a member, you will be emailed the Zoom meeting link. Guests are welcome to attend our guest lectures for a one-time $10 donation to the guild, payable via our Paypal: http://paypal.me/OCModernQuiltGuild

Our November meeting will be held one week early due to the Thanksgiving holiday. The guild does not meet in December.

  • Quilter’s Block – bring questions on a current project for other members to help with
