Can I be a guest at a guild meeting?
Yes! We’d love to have you join us. Visiting us for our regular membership meetings is free, but we do ask that you join the guild if you attend more than two meetings.
We also welcome guests for our meetings with guest speakers for a $10 donation to the guild, payable via Zelle, Paypal or in person.

What’s the cost?
Our annual dues are $75 for the calendar year. For those of you who discover us and join late in the year, you may be eligible for prorated dues.
Regardless of when you join, since our guild is a member of the MQG, you’ll receive MQG membership benefits as well.

As an OCMQG Member you will join an energetic group of quilters who embrace and celebrate the modern quilt movement. You will also be able to:

You may join The Modern Quilt Guild independently but in doing so would not automatically become a member of the OCMQG.
Do your members use any of the MQG perks?
Why, yes they do! They’ve viewed their webinars, downloaded free monthly patterns, participated in swaps & challenges. Oh, and have saved big money entering quilts to the annual show and attending the show, workshops, and lectures.
How can I pay for my membership, workshops, or guest lecture passes?
There are a few options to pay for your membership, workshop fees, or guest lecture passes.
1. Bring a personal check or cash to our in-person meetings, made payable to “OCMQG”. Please note on the check what the payment is for.
2. Paypal (fee)
3. Pay online via Zelle. Zelle is already in lots of banking apps and is a way to send money to the guild without fees on either end. Payments via Zelle should be sent to ocmodernquiltguild@gmail.com.
