NEXT Meeting – November 16, 2023 at 6:30pm (Please note this is not the last Thursday of the month. We had to move to the 16th due to availability of the room (Thanksgiving, etc.)).
October Meeting Recap:
- Bylaw updates, 2024 Board, and Budget were passed.
- 2024 dues are 65 dollars. Check or Zelle is preferred.
- We are running a silent auction through the November meeting to purchase the community quilts.
- We had a lovely collage activity, based on a technique from Sarah Hibbert. A low cost and stress free way to try out a quilt idea before committing to a full quilt.
- Registration is open for the February Walking Foot workshop with Carrie Olsen.
- Cheers for Lilian, Jonathan, and Mily for winning the prizes.
For Next Month:
- We are talking about Maximalism!
- We have the Book Challenge and Toiletry Drive!
- We also have the final social event for 2024 on December 9th. Party and potluck at Cheryl’s in Irvine. RSVP forthcoming.
